CoSach Sachet Packed Medications

Medications are packed by a robotic dispensing system. Tablets and capsules are fed into the sachets from coded cannisters.

Sachets have many benefits over blister packaged medications and are ideal for aged and disability care clients.

• Easy to identify medications - clear packs labeled with name, date & time of administration, drug name, quantity and description.
• Medication can be crushed in the pack - either in a mortar or using ergonomic crush equipment, crush in the bag & administer powder to patient. No contamination or residue.
• Easy to separate doses - each sachet can be separated while still sealed, so medications can be sent with a client who is temporarily leaving the facility. The rest of the medications remain on site safe & ready for when the client returns
• All the medications in one box for a week - compare with blister packs where a resident may have three or four packs.

documentation system

The sachet delivery system can be combined with standard industry medication charts or delivered with our computerised chart system. The documentation can be customised to better fit with your procedures and policies.
